District Governor's Message

Congratulations to all my fellow Rotarians on the occasion of your stepping into the New Year 2010-11. While you worked hard during the just passed year of 2009-2010, reemphasizing that the future of Rotary is in your hands, your eyes are now firmly fixed on building communities and bridging continents during the year 2010-11 and beyond.

Leadership changeover ceremony is a glorious Rotary tradition, during which spontaneous transition of power from one group of leaders to the other takes place. It reflects Rotary’s principles and ideologies of developing new leadership, respecting democratic norms and utilising new and diverse thoughts and ideas toward building communities and bridging continents. Creating opportunities for others is a noble practice in Rotary’s leadership tradition. It also underlines importance of passionate thinking about others. My heartfelt congratulations to the new president and his/her teammates of every Rotary Club of District 3280, who will be expected to lead their respective clubs with tremendous enthusiasm and full dedication aiming at reaching a clear goal of success.
