Dear Rotary leaders and all fellow Rotarians,
Leadership in the Rotary World changes immediately after the midnight on 30 June each year. So it happened also in Rotary International District 3280 Bangladesh. We began the 2007-2008 Rotary year with much vigour and exuberance on 01 July 2007. The presence of the Hon'ble President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in the Year launching ceremony added a special dimension to the occasion. We are grateful to the Hon'ble President for his kindness. My heartiest congratulations to you all on this auspicious moment of taking up your assignments of service and responsibilities from club to district levels.
I am grateful to the Rotarians of Bangladesh for reposing in me the confidence and faith to lead RI District 3280 as the District Governor in 2007-2008 Rotary year. I assure you fellow Rotarians, that I shall leave no stone unturned to live to your expectations and together we shall dedicate ourselves to the Theme of our world leader RI President Wilfrid J. Wilkinson, "Rotary Shares" and take our district to a higher level in order to render Service Above Self.
As you all know Rotary is a very methodical, democratic and disciplined organizations, it grooms its leaders in all levels to take up their future assignments and responsibilities through proper training at all levels. It is expected that all club and District leaders would regularly go through their Hand Books and Manual of Procedure and run their clubs as per the recommended By-laws and constitution. We not only share our love and kindness with the needy people of the community, we also share love and fellowship with the Rotarians around the globe. Let us show that Rotary Shares love and kindness.
