District Governor Elect. AKM Shamsul Huda met the print and electronic media on 30th June,2009 at 11 am at the VIP Lounge of' the National Press Club, where he recounted the history of Rotary International and its aims, ideals, programs poIicies and achievements around the world for more than a century.
He gave details of Rotary activities in BANGLADESH-the past, current projects taken by the Rotary Clubs of the district and also the future plans and programs of the 160 clubs in Bangladesh. specially in the areas of water and sanitation, health and hunger. and literacy. A large number of members of the print and electronic media was present at the conference.
